I think that Randy Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams because he pursued it, he said and I quote “experience is what you get when don’t get what you want” and said that “Its not about you achieve your dreams but it’s how you live your life”. What I learned from him is to never stop trying in pursuing your dream to make it a reality.
I believed that dreaming is important because that would the starting point of your journey in life. Having dreams means having goals, because when you dream on something you will think about it and you can imagine that you are already there. It will be stored in your subconscious mind and can affect how you live your life and it would be your motivation.
One of my childhood dreams is to become a CEO of my own company. I believe that I can achieve it even though I’m not born in a rich family but I know I can find ways to make it happen. Right now, what I do and why I’m enrolled into this class is because this is one way to achieve my dream.
I learned a lot from this week’s reading and videos. I feel inspired and motivated, when I watched the video in titled “Treat Life as an Experiment” I realized that I’m been experimenting ever since and had been trying to do things to achieve my dreams, failing so many times and I could not even number them, feeling depressed because of those failures but until now and in the future to come I will not stop trying until I can find the right path. Right now, my heart is full of joy because of pathway-connect that leads me to BYU-Idaho and I’m certain that this is a new beginning for me and soon I can see the success that I have been longing for.
I look forward with great hope to learn the proper knowledge and skills that I need and enjoy the experience. There would be unforeseen challenges along the way but bring it on.
