This week’s lesson was very inspiring and I learned a lot of important lessons. What got my attention was the case study that talks about setting our priorities. If we set our priorities straight then we can avoid hard decision that comes in our daily lives, by way of remembering our priorities that leads to our eternal goal can make us decide more easily in our choices.
From the talk of President Thomas S. Monson in titled “Formula for success” taught me about enriching our talents and multiplying it no matter how small it is or how big it is. We should continue to make use of it and make it grow otherwise the lord might take it away from us.
From the document “Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness” I learned that indeed money is not the main source of happiness or fulfillment in life. It’s true that it can bring happiness because if you have a lot of money then you can afford to buy things that can make you feel happy. But I believe that we can still be happy in life without a lot of money if we learn to be grateful and be happy of what we have because we can both be happy and fulfilled at the same time if we do that.
The talk of Stephen W. Gibson about “Attitude on Money” talks about how we should use the money whether using it to do good or using it in a bad way. We should strive to gain more money with the intent to good and use it to serve others and to help building the kingdom of God. The Lord wants us to be rich and inherit all the blessings that is in stored for us and become a blessings to others.
Balance in life is so important, by setting our priorities straight we can make hard decision to be easier. As a latter-day saint we have been taught that we should put our priority to family first. By balancing our family life and our careers we can have a harmonious life. For every decision that we make we should always think “What Matters Most”.
