If I would have a final lecture that I will share to a group of students it would be about the of talk of President Thomas S. Monson in titled “Finishers Wanted”. I learned a very important lesson from this talk, during this course I learned that life is a journey. During our mortal probation we will have all the experiences from different situations and a long the way it will shape who we are.
For the covenant path, our main goal is to reach our heavenly home. We start our journey in that path starting from different slopes, where ever our starting point would be we should make sure to make our direction upward. I learned that we should be consistent in doing what is right and good that are pleasing in the sight of God. We cannot justify our wrong doings to compensate for the good things that we did, the important thing on how the Lord will judge us is on what we have become.
We cannot fail now and give in to trials that we experience, instead we should look forward with faith and make those experiences to strengthen us in our journey, if we put our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ then we cannot fail and become finishers in this journey called life.
For me, I realized that being an entrepreneur is not an easy path, it may promise great rewards but it requires a lot of effort, challenges, sacrifices, perseverance and faith to be able to achieve it.
For the other aspiring entrepreneur like me, be prepared and get the best education that you need before starting your journey. You have to learn first who you really are and what you want to achieve in your life, I learned from this course that when you decide to become an entrepreneur you should put your heart unto it and have a conviction to become a “Finisher.”
Before becoming an entrepreneur, the first thing that we need to build is our character and our solid faith in our Savior. The path of entrepreneurship is not for everyone, along the way there would be a lot of possibilities in whom that you will become whether that would be good or bad. Before you start your journey, you should begin with the end in mind and don’t lose your focus to the ultimate goal which is eternal life.
